Mine isn't a rose-tinted dream. Risk of theft is a problem wherever you are. The other points are off-putting to many but, barring lack of t'internet, I can happily work round all the other issues you mention. I don't want a big house, I just want a bit more space around a smaller family home. I feel like a sardine in a tin living on a modern estate!
