What do they do (sorry for the stupidity), how much are we looking at for a set of them also is it a thing that you can only get from Suzuki?

You can buy these from teh very helpful PDQ in UK.

Any technical queries ask for Rob, unless he responds on here first that is.

Do emulator kits replace everything in the fork or do you still need to get uprated springs too?

That really depends on your own weight to be honest. You dont necessarily need to replace them.

If you go to the valving utility at racetech's website you can tell it the bike model, your weight, the style of riding etc and it will suggest a spring weight and fluid type etc.

Fitting them isnt that difficult but you need to do a little drilling etc so probably best if you are technically minded. We can certainly walk you through it if you need.

Ah see.

I went on their spring rate thing and i need way heavier springs to suspend my 17 stone bulk. So I could just change the whole lot when the time comes.

What's nice is that you don't need special springs- so you can do springs and oil by itself, and if you're not happy with it it's easy to go that bit further and add emulators, all you lose is some time and the cost of the oil.
