3 days in and what must be ~100 miles now ... 0.1psi down (lets face it, I prolly let that much out testing it ) and still passes spit-test with no bubbles at all

So far so good

I did end up having to elbow my way off the side of a van when filtering on the way home mind* ... but that was hardly the tyres/repairs fault

*That is the kind of thing that is gonna finally 'get' me one day, not a home made repair

DUDE! extream filtering or what.

Good to hear your tyre repair is still good.

Meh, it happens from time to time ... most of the time you can see them readying a lane change/drift ... but sometimes a lane change sudden dash/dart by a driver it is pretty sudden/unpredictable I tend to keep it nailed and just elbow my way off the side if necessary. On this occasion, either the driver was eating his sarnies and drifted/swerved over or was picking up his prono mag/copy of the daily sport and drifted/swerved over right as I was past the point of no return passing him!!

For some reason when this sort of thing happens it fires me up and I start riding like a total c**t afterwards - until presumably the adrenalin subsides a bit and I resume to normal speed?!!?

Ok, so after about a weeks worth of riding (now wet and dry) and a weekend sat in the garage, the tyre has not actually lost any pressure (well up 0.2psi this AM actually, but that has to be due to ambient temp when checking ).

So a week on and all is well

As it has stayed up for a week now without loosing any pressure, I am not going to test the pressure with a gauge every day now. I WILL do a finger press check before every ride though.

But I have to say, as it stands it is very promising
