Narp, I just found the wiring from the stock guages and hooked it all up, it confused me for a bit with all the different colours, I still have to put up the oil pressure switch and neutral to it. Otherwise it was rather easy.

Unless your prepared to put your hand in your pocket and dig out some proper money, your not going to find any sort of headlight that will give you good illumination. Quite simply, regarding headlights, you get what you pay for.

I like what you have done so far. Looking quite good. I'd move the lights as close to the forks as you can. And you need a chromed radiator cover.

In regards to that, I got an acerbis last night, lot better, but the idea is, rig up some SV bulbs onto this set-up and use it. I have to sort fuses out etc but shouldn't be a prob

Your lights are only ever going to be as good as the reflector behind them. You can have super powerful headlight bulbs but if the reflector is rubbish it wont project that light forward. It'll just blind everyone else coming in the opposite direction.

Plowsier, listen to the Ape If you connect the SV bulb straight to a battery you'll see why, it's blinding to look at but doesn't make enough light to see around my garage. It's all about the reflector, that's why one SV round headlight is so much more effective than you'd expect compared to 2 faired model headlights. Acerbis do finally have a couple of headlights with real lamps and reflectors but they're still not a very good option tbh.

There's various small driving lights you can use, or things like 749 headlights which are small but very effective. Or, the round headlight look is good I think (and on a streetfighter, very uncommon, rarer than acerbis lights and Bateses )

Right, so Wednesday night I got back from work at 12 ish and there was a metal on metal noise.

"*****n ell, what the eck is that"

Rode it in Thrusday, took it to Rad in town, rings me up today, pads needed changing. TFFT.

So tonight will be trying to stick me bars on and new headlight Will take a piccy of the pads tonight FTR and hopefully have the bars done tonight Gonna have to drop the forks through by roughly 10-15mm I think though So may look into different risers instead of that, what will 10-15mm do to the thing?

Cheers for input people...
