Default Re: BMC vs K&N?

I have found that running a baffle can help, some bikes prefer them. No the K&N wont solve your issues (not sure if your bike is carbed or injected?). Best way to check exactly whats happening is to take it for a dyno air fuel run so you can see exactly how its running and then go from there.

An air fuel run wont be expensive and if you have shelled out on a can its a worthwhile investment to get the bike running A1. We see so many here jetted on guesswork and none are close to being as good as they could be. Jetting can be done yourself if your competant.

it's a year 2000 carb model. I've ordered a baffle already as it's a tad loud at the moment. My mechanics A1, I'd use him for jetting if I choose to go that route. See how it runs with the baffle fitted.
