As for a bed mat, I bought a Back Packers airbed from Blacks for ?20 and it weighs less than my old thermarest and is about 1000% more comfortable even in snow, pack size is that of a small mug.

All of this kit will pack down into a set of panniers and still leave room for a stash of clothes and my Petzl Head torch

I am still working towards my Summer ML but I do not think I will go for my MIA anymore. I found motorbikes and kind of stopped going climbing!

Thank you, however you are probably better explaining it to Carol, she is the brains of our outfit and will know where you are talking about.

We hope to get down there for a bit of fun and chatting about bikes, but Carol is working late at the moment, so we may be a little late. Not her fault, I want her to have Friday off so we can go out to play on Silvie and meet one of my friends.
