Engine note on the Daytona should swing it.

Actually, no, they're rubbish - avoid at all costs, and help keep prices down while I'm still saving for one.

Hehe. Yeah it's pretty good. But an kwak il4 on full chat sounds fantastic!
Think I'm going to have to ride them back-to-back.

A triple on full chat sounds even better.

Oh and the 'tona will be cheaper to insure as it's a lower insurance group to the ZX9

I'll have to run a quote off tonight.

I saw a red one with full carbon gear on it, single sided swingarm etc. 24k but showroom condition....it really did stand out in the shop. Bugger.

I always got the impression the 955i wasn't that quick?

the zx9 is group 16 the 955i is group 15

it depends what you class as not that quick? I bottled out on mine at a indicated 160mph (on a private road of course ) and there was still more to come, there's nothing lacking with its acceleration either

Hmm. Are we talking SS600 acceleration then?

I would say so but you don't have to rev it as hard as say a CBR600RR. It's deceptively quick

Just been reading up on it. With 147 bhp and about 75ftlb of torque across the entire rev range...I think a cbr wouldn't have a look in tbh.

Damn you! I thought I had this decision made! Now I want a 'tona.

When did they go from the funny front lights (not the curveyesque model)to the individual ones?

I came away from a rideout with a 955 when I was on my ZX7R thinking about trading my 7 in for something with engine breaking.

But that was on Alsace twisties not motorway.
