Correct, it was a RAF Harrier.

I struck the air operational planner, he had no idea we were there (which we knew) but he failed to confirm or even ask command as to whether the call sign was genuine and if there were operatives behind the line. He killed two service operatives that day because he failed to ask one question, he was discharged from the RAF.

I love to say im supprised that happened but im not... Our officers are useless.

I am a Colour Sergeant, TL but now an instructor. I am no longer an active team operative due to the left Leg injuries.

RAF... hence knowing about our officers. Im an SAC Based at RAF Fylingdales. Im getting out though, just over a year left. It sucks. Too much bull **** for me, ive been screwed about loads for no reason that I can see.

Yeah, there is a lot of sh*t in the services. The beauty about the SBS is we are respected by officers and the UKSF, we do our job to the best we can and to date we have never had a failed op. We have had disasters but never failures in our objectives.

No lol no missile base. We have a big ar$e radar though.

Aye you probably do get treated better in your job I have no doubt. Just hope when I get in Civvy street I can find a resonable job ha ha.

No its terrable! The radar has a 3000 mile range!!! With the power this thing puts out most signals dont get throught... I have to put my alarm fob under where the alarm is mounted on my bike and click it for upto well minutes before the signal gets that 2 CM.
