Well I picked up my HG Journey GTX stuff yesterday. The 60 mile ride home was in driving rain so was a good test of the kit. Needless to say I was totally dry (apart from a little rain that went down the back of my neck dripping off me lid at the lights). It kept the cold out well and was far more comfortable than my old Frank Thomas kit but then again it was over twice the price.

Just thought i'd say I got the jacket in the end and went for a ride tonight. Really warm and feels like a well built jacket

Haha, no he just gave me some of that wash stuff you use on it and some earplugs!

I'm no expert but it blocked the cold supremely and fits me great, feels very safe. And it does look great too.
