The riding across water, bush and on dirt were done by a stunt rider.

And the shots of him going past the camera on the front or back wheel only were no doubt done on a closed road.

Think so .... ?

Ah, happy days. All the filming for that was done down the A3, Epsom forest, Battersea Park and London with me doing the riding and poor Daryll on the back. He really ****ing nearly did die when the helmet came off his head and he took one hand off - I had to snap the throttle shut at 165mph as his arms came up under my armpits! What was it called? Short Shifts, that's it. Sold about 6 copies, I seem to remember... "

Sorry Seggons mate but you are totally wrong. My company works does video and media. If it were speeded up at all then there would be tell tale signs in the film copy. I ran it through our video suite and found no evidence of speeding up the film. Get the high def copy and you can see it's real time speed. Even from the youtube cut you can tell. I slowed it down and all the markers were in total synch with sound etc. You can split the sound track and see cuts and edits. These are in synch.

At 35 seconds he's wheelying then it's cut. At 47 secs doing a wheelie in a 30 zone and I can tell you that it wasn't sped up at all there. There's a pedal cyclist at the right edge of the frame and you can see it is going at a steady rate. If it were sped up then the pedal cyclist would be much faster. The shimmer on the leaves in the trees would be much faster too. No such evidence.

At 1.13 he's doing..5k 50 mph. If it were in KPH it would be around 75kh. (Fireblade is doing the same.) Of course this depends what gear you're in.

At 1.34 he's doing 11.5k - in any gear on an R1 that's breaking the law. Speedo says 145 - and there's no doubt whatsoever it's MPH at the rate he's blasting past traffic.

Someone mentioned the roads would have been closed off for publicity - don't believe that for a minute.

At 1.39 - 1.41 he passes approx 18 white lines in 2 secs and files past the land cruiser on the left. Speedo reads 157 revs approx 12k - again on an R1 this is MPH in 5th or 6th. KPH would be approx 250kph

At 1.50-1.52 he passes approx 22 white lines and the red car.

At 1.56 the white van behind them is dust. Count the white lines.

At 2.03 -2.08 he's filtering at neary a ton. Found no evidence it was slowed down.

At 2.20 he's wheelying on a motorway past a car at approx 110mph

At 2.25 - 2.30 they are passing at a phnomenal rate. There's no speeding up of the frames that I could see.

The rest afterwards "could be" closed roads.

I still cannot understand why they have not been done for this. It's blatant law breaking and definitely on public roads. If I were any of those two guys that were done recently I would be pointing this video out as an example of what's went on before.

Could I suggest that nobody can actually prove who was riding the bike during the illegal parts of the film! The only thing you can prove was that it was him driving away from the shop and that it was him arriving at the shop. The most you could do him for is the burn out.

Other than that it is implied that the rest of the filming was him, but as you never see his face during the rest of the video and because it is not one continuous shot you cant prove who it is.

I thought it was amusing, but it doesnt do much the for the repution of bikers.

In a world where Russell Brand is forced to resign after an admittedly ill thought out telephone message, Jamie needs to be a little more careful!!
