+1. More so as I originally kicked off NW rideouts, then due to work & family crap, Mike took over (he's done a better job than I ever did anyhow ). Due to those same commitments I haven't been in a position to plan anything last year really, and unfortunately it looks the same for this year.

As others have said, I'm hoping to get out on the bike & meet you reprobates more this year (weekly/fornightly etc meets being the priority for me TBH). Something happened last night which may make that more of a possibility too.

I'm not all that far away fella. If you fancy a night in Bangor some time, and I'm free/have the cash etc, I have a permanent live-in babysitter (Jen) and a sofa-bed. I'm sure you'd feel like you were encroaching on family etc a bit, so would offer the same in return out of duty/guilt.

Go-karting could be good, couple of options there being near Caernarfon (indoor) or down the A5 not too far from Mike's (outdoor) - I went to this one not long ago with work. There's also a kart track on the island, but that's probably too far out for most folk.

Paint-balling another possibility.

EDIT: Ice skating/go-karting at Deeside too, but ice skating isn't really my thing unless the kids are there & I can laugh at them falling over. (shhh, that's not cruel!)

Also if you look at the main forum page you have general stuff about bikes and help with SV`s , then scroll down and it gives you the threads about gear and Twiddly bits and right at the bottom are the general areas for each part of the UK . Have a sniff about in there and see who is based nearer to you , and failing that , just pop in there and say Hi , hope this is of some help

Tidied. I left our little spat in because we resolved things amicably, shows this forum is not the be all and end all! The discussion about the evening meets now in this thread.
