Hmm... tough call.

Do I ride the bike on Saturday morning then drive over to my sister's in the afternoon. Or do leave my credit card at home, drive to the bike show in the morning and go to my sister's from there???

I think it depends on the weather:

sunny= rainy=

That probably makes me a fair-weather biker.

Keith.

For anyone going Sunday, does anyone want to meet at the Ace for the ride up there or meet at the No to bike parking fees, to ace, then to Ally Pally? Get a few SV's (and or orgers)?

the demo ride is Saturday I believe, on sunday I'm meeting some guys at Boxhill in the morning (9am) ride round to the Ace for 10.30-11, then off to the show at 12.

Cheers Mark.

Well the first day is over.

It was certainly busier than I expected, particularly in the morning.

If you are coming then I think these are the things to highlight.

1. Helmets, at very good prices. (several stands)
2. A really nice display of custom bikes
3. I visited the KTM stand at least 4 times to sit on the KTM690 SMR? hmmm I can feel a purchase coming on. anyone know if it is any good,
4. Lots of cheap leather jackets gloves etc.
5. Several ladies oriented stands, jackets, helmets, boots etc.
6. Ducati Stand promoting 696+ and hypomotard, with skinny clad ladies.

I was surprised that fuel, quill, and other can companies did not make an appearance, I was looking for a nice new can for my sv. i think only scorpion had a stand.

I passed by the Suzuki owners stand and there was something about a free oil filter, I didn't get to read it properly but I'll have one if it is free

My mate is also showing off the Blaze 250RR road legal quad bike, can you drop by and have a look/opinion.

Me and Matt went today. Found it rather crap compared to previous years.

hardly any bikes to sit on or look at. The honda, KTM & ducati stall was good. There was some random Yamahas dotted around and some old style hondas penned up.

the range of clothing available was limited (no decent motorcycle gloves could be found). There also appeared to be non-bike related stalls as well - drills, miniture furniture (the kid you find for dolls houses) and pet blankets

S'pose it depends what you're looking for really...

Hope next year is a bit better.
