No the sort of parents who do not teach their children not to steal other people's hard won possesions will totally forget it's stolen.

If the rightful owner of the bike had gone out and shot the little tw4t a few times, I'd probably be saying "good grouping", the rest of you would be saying "sweeet"... and the rightful owner would be being sent to prison. (oh yeah and the bleeding heart tosseurs would be saying "it wasn't his fault", but who cares. F##king hippies.)

I feel this outcome is the best one. Thief is dead, owner is not getting done over for it. Sweet.

I'd be inclined to agree with that, just trying to see it from a different perspective.

unless they discover the motorcycle was not in a road worthy condition - crapped headraces and shagged brakes...theif dies beause of owners neglect is how the headline would look...

I'm still amazed how you can kill yourself on a 125, 4 stroke.

Does this mean they are too powerful for learners? lol.

I think this article highlights the fact that its not bikes that are dangerous, its the rider.

Anyone who is riding beyond their limits and without due care and attention, and appropriate observation, can kill themselves on their bike. Even if its a push bike.

On the other hand, anyone who is riding within their limits, with due care an attention, and apropriate observation, has an excellent chance of surviving any and every motorcycle ride, even if the bike they ride is huge and powerfull.

even if the t****r had got away with it,and the insurance paid out,is that any good? Some people keep their bike for yrs, know its history and customise it to their own style. You only have to look at the hours some people spend just cleaning them.
Insurance pay outs never cover the above.
When mine was stolen and smashed ,it was terrible.I got if from my cousin ,who in turn had it from new and i was never able to find one "that ment the same to me "again.
Im glad the **** that took mine never went to see his maker, but it was a small consolation to find out that both his arms were smashed.

Not really, you could kill yourself on a 50cc moped if you crashed it fast enough. You don't have to be going 100mph to die in a crash.

I would prob still have it now if it hadnt gone "walk about"
Ive still got my 250x7(even though its up north in a friends lock up)
Could I replace it with another? No chance ,its 30 yrs old.
to alot of people their bike is "more than the sum of its parts"
