Owned the Ankle Biter K3 4years in July.

20,000 miles on the clock.

New front discs at 15k. (One disc dished)

Has not started on the button not more than twice. (Not far to push to get to a slope!)

Never been on the deck (only bike I have owned that has not)

Taking it off the road in spring for fork rebuild ( I remember damping!)and subframe paint.(Flaking off just like everyother all year bike I've had , including two Hondas)

Great bike. All about the engine for me. Its a peach.

Since october 2004. Although it was broken from march 2006 due to a Corsa driver, it now works again (mostly).

She regularly doesn't start (hopefully replacing the reg/rec for one from a f*rtblade will fix this, the battery was also dead when I finished rebuilding it), leaks oil like a sieve (crankcase breathers have always leaked, clutch cover now starting in sympathy, as is the starter motor), there is still a pile of cables on top of the headlight (now cunningly hidden by a fly screen) and you can't read the (acewell) clocks at night due to the positioning (which I should probably sort out sometime soon) but she was my first big bike and, to be honest, she isn't really worth much to anybody else, but has huge value to me. She'll be 10 years old this year.
