Ha! i think the driver should have some sort of warning as he allowed the passanger to do it thus removing their seat belt (which i always thought driver got fined for)

I thought it was just if it was your car in a traffic offence? Any other offence surely you're fine to have an attack of amnesia without prosecution?

Does this mean if you get stopped and you have a blood covered hatchet under the passenger seat you can't just say 'meh could have been any of my murderer pals'' ?
