They are really scaping the barrel with the "extra training for firefighters in case they run short of officers"bit.And their definition of "pandemic flu" should get them arrested and charged with inciting public panic.

Mainly the vulnerable. But it is treatable, and it isn't as deadly as bird flu.

If they're so bothered why don't they just put everyone returning from Mexico in quarantine for a week?

I thought that Couldn't work out if it was because a)there isn;t actually a big issue or b) the powers that be and common sense don't... 'go'
