They're just crap...

cold weather (ie UK!) = crap
wet = crap
durability = crap
tread design = crap
feel/feedback = crap
slide control (i should bloody know) = crap
grip when very hot on a lovely day = acceptable

Hehe. Have to admit, they've felt really good so far. Won't be replacing with the same, but I've got no complaints. They squirm a little on wet cats eyes, but all tyres do that.

Yep they suck the most of any tyre I've ridden on, I'd rather have an OEM Dunlop D220 on my bike than an 014... My GSXR came with them on..

It ate the first rear after 1800 miles. The 2nd rear was knackered after 1200. The front didnt last much longer...

Cold grip is sh*te, wet grip is sh*te, they are utterly un-predictable when they are cold. I.e. they'll let go with no warning whatsoever you get no feel or anything from them. They totally robbed all my confidence that then took along time to get back up again.

They work really well on a Hot Sunny afternoon, you know the sort when you sweat in your leathers sat still traffic lights, they'd probably be good on track where you can ride hard enough to keep the heat in them, but anywhere or when else they are horrid.

With that sort of mileage it makes race scrub supercorsas look like a sensible option.

Have been running Maxxis Supermaxx Sports for approx 12 months now, good old fashioned single compound rubber. Wont be trying anything else anytime soon cos these are brilliant. Despite the lack of tread they never spin up or loose grip in wet or dry & are providing 4k+ quick miles.

If you run a 180+ rear, these are the best kept secret in sports tyres. No need for more expensive multi compound rubber IMHO

Oops - I've just fitted a pair of BT021 tyres. Guess I'll have to try and find a route to work where I can use the sides a bit.

Ive been reading about a bit, I noticed a while ago that it said something about it somewhere but other places seemed to contradict it some what...

Anyway, the Roadsmart front is single compound. Wonder how it would grip in the corners Vs the Pilot Power im currently running...
