Unless the guy admits to it, not sure how I'd get that...
I was thinking last night actually what he's say when they paid him a visit... If he says "don't know anything about it" they can just check his bumper - there's bound to be scuff marks. If he says "yes but it was somehow the biker's fault" then he must surely be done for leaving the scene. Either way, I still feel fine this morning (although not entirely looking forward to my biking into work now!) |

right complain about your back, neck wrist today. if theres no bike damage or no one injured nothing will come of it.
a sore back will not only get him nicked but also get you a new set of leathers, tyers and possably something for the missus ![]() |

Happy for you that you managed to stay upright. I think this is a perfect example of why motorcyclists should not get road rage when being cut up, nearly hit or indeed as in this case actually hit. Them people in those cars can do an awful lot of serious damage if they so chose. It just is not worth getting road rage. As a motorcyclist you are just too damn vulnerable. Not saying you had road rage and this was why you were bumped several times, just that your case is a good example of how vulnerable we are. I hope justice is served and something positive happens in your favour.
Oh and this is posted in the wrong section. ![]() |

That is unbelieveable!! Although i'm not surprised he shot you a torrent of abuse and drove off. A guy reversed into my car once in a Tesco car park and he just played the big 'un and tried to scare me into just saying 'ok forget it'. I suppose if you couldn't get him to stop there's not much you could have done.
Makes you wonder how many accidents there are where this kind of thing happens. |

BMW/mercs/vans as stated are generally (note not all) ******s. I've had people speeding (doing 40+) in build up housing areas (30 zones) try to ram me outta the way. When the road has spilt into 2 lanes they've then gone side by side and hurled abuse at me. Even had one real arsehat (after i showed him the finger :P) swerve to try and hit me!!
That dude in this case should get a driving ban and a fine, cos 3 times is imho as someone stated attempted murder or GBH. Hopefully when he loses his license then his job and then hopefully his house. Come on karma!! |

No witnesses so I doubt anything will come of it unless the driver is stupid (or honest) enough to admit what he did. I got hit by a bus once and the bus company denied that they had a bus on the road at that time so the police dropped the case.

I would not get your insurance involved at this stage mate, if it turns out that their is nothing wrong with your bike it will cause you bother when you come to renew (the same thing happened to me).
Take it to your local dealer, tell them you want a quote for damage for your insurance company as it may be going through your insurance. They will give you a quote and shouldnt charge for it. I took my Z1000 to M&S in Durham who are a Honda dealer and they quickly checked to see if it was all straight for me, took about 30 mins and they never charged me a penny. Good luck and well done for hanging on, like I said, been there, done that and it ****s you up big time. Hope you get it all sorted bud |

As above, I'm thinking that a sore back or stiff neck would force the issue to be followed through - if not by the police then by the insurance company. Would he not then lose his no-claims (assuming he has any)? Not to mention, what insurance company is going to want to touch him after it comes out that he's used his vehicle as a weapon and fled the scene?
And if all else fails, well Karma is still a B!tc# - epsecially when it finds out where you live and lobs a balloon full of brake fluid at the hood of your Mercedes in the middle of the night. Last edited by CheGuevara; 11-06-09 at 09:21 AM. |
