My front brakes have something going on. Pads look good and I tried bleeding them and the fluid looks good but 3 fingers takes a LOT of effort to raise the rear wheel in the air at all. Braking at speed reminds me of braking with my 12 year old KLR 250 Dual Sport bike.

I think one of two things could be the problem:

Stretched out hoses
I suck at bleeding and just need to bleed the brakes properly

Both of those causes would lead to the lever coming back to the bar rather than a general lack of power. Though the better feel from braided lines gives the illusion of more power because it is much more accessible.
