Making him cry would have been a start. The worst part was when I couldnt see David , when I first worked out where we were! Hadnt realised at this point he was my comfy pillow .

see, I dont have a nurse fetish, you perv ). And yes, I wasnt looking forward to using public transport to get home, so a big thank you to the cops who took me home. I'm so innocent and lead a clean and boring life - and I have a bridge I can sell you, cheap...

now THAT is a great t-shirt! And "Soft Mac" even fits the scots theme. Although he would probably object

Sorry to hear about this, glad you're physically OK (if mentally furious at that cyclist!).

Just a thought re: IDing the bike, sometimes the owner's postcode is stamped into the frame (bottom bracket?), I had that done by my local police station when I were a lad and believe they still do it. If it was stolen, at least you might find out from whence it came. If not stolen, you might be lucky and find the actual idiot responsible (though proving it might be tricky).

Re: pedal bike insurance, as is always the case, those who are sensible enough to possess such insurance are also those most likely to be careful, thoughtful & considerate riders and thus less likely to cause an accident.

oh shizen! So sorry to hear you took a tumble because of a stupid 2 wheeled lemming... Most important you're both OK, apart from bruises and I can only imagine it must have hurt to see Ms T's new lid ruined

I believe all cycles should be subject to 3rd party insurance if they are to use public roads... I've seen (and experienced) too many life-threatening situations caused by them beleiwvng they 're not subject to any trafic rules..

Shame the c*ck was well enough to run away.
Ouch SK, sorry to hear that! Hopefully you may have some way of tracking this cyclist or something?

Damn cyclists p1ss me off, they think the road is just for them yet they dont have to pay insurance, tax, no form of training or license required, bikes not checked for road worthiness, no license plate for tracing purposes, yet can still cause damage / cause injury on the roads and walk or run away scott free.

Couldn't have summed it up better myself really.
