Practice makes perfect and you will soon get a feel for it. When done right you won't need to feed the clutch in, you just need to flick it (actually if you get it spot on you don't need the clutch at all but that takes LOTS of practice). If you get a jerk forward you had to many revs, if the bikes baulks not enough.
