Still have the SV. Have had an assortment of bikes at the same time. But the SV is the most fun little bike I have ever owned and have no intention of parting with it. When it finally gives up, I will probably go get a Gladius. The Gladius can be made to look quite good. Unlike the pointy SV.

I would have still had my SV if I hadn't done some extreme stunting action. Only have the Ducati now but once everything settles down I want to get an SV for commuting/bad weather days

I traded me curvey for a daytona 650, cracking bike but not me, so been thinking of going back to a curvey, just got to sort the funds out tbh, although saying that Ive me eye on a few at the min.

My thinking exactly mr speirs! I've still got my SV but a sports bike and a power ranger suit Im hoping for by next summer. keep the SV for poor conditions.

SV for commuting, last 2 bikes for this job have been Bandits.
Cheap to buy, insure and (so far) run, the SV is probably a bit less comfortable in Central London, but more fun on the country roads home than the Bandits. When this one is too knacked to do the London run (probably another 3 or 4 years) then I'd definitely have another SV - hopefully the thou!

SV was my 3rd bike... currently on my 5th (see sig)
I do occasionally miss the sv, it did the job at the time and was the first bike that got me into the social side of biking via these forums but I think i'll be Triumph for life now ![]() |
