All year round biker

this may not happen anyway now - the house i will be moving to and hope to do it at seems to be surrounded by crazy old ladies who hate everyone. i have been re-wiring it with a mate before i move in next month and already been shouted at by some old lady 3 doors down about my bike being parked outside MY house!! she called the permit people!!! i am going to ask the direct neighbours if its cool to do. we won't be on the street but out back on the rear lane access bit so should be fine. don't want to host this and then some childish bint call the police (although we are not doing anything wrong) and get hassled/receive tickets for small number plates etc.

off the point - just came back from stag do in edinburgh and if no one has been out there i strongly recommend it.

Ignore her... I have had a Victor Meldrew-esque chap shout at me several times for parking my car outside his house (where it is legal to do so - and he even admitted this during his tirade) because he felt there were too many residents' cars on the street already without mine (who lives up on the corner and has double yellows out front! WTF am I meant to do?).

As long as we're not causing a nuisance or making noise and all our bikes are legal, what could the cops do?

yeah fair point. will inform them of it anyway so they know its happening. not like there will be a wheelie contest on the day......
