I've got an '08 plate Vauxhall Astra SRI 1.9CDTi. Does the job, quick enough and fairly economic for my commute!

Mk2 golf gti's were brilliant.
I had one 10 years ago and spent shed loads modding it, polished and ported head, fast road cam.
It was ace and quick, escort rs turbos had a shock when they tried to pull away LOL

Liz and I share these

1 x Ford Maverick 2.7Tdi
1 x Ford Focus 1.8 Tdci Zetec ( 100bhp Duratorque )

The Maverick gets used like a van / camper and is general dogsbody and the Focus Liz is using to get to work as its working out cheaper than taking the bike is for her.

I however still really really miss my MKIII Golf 16v GTI, I really want another or a VR6 in that body shape, but between us we just have way to many vehicles to justify getting anymore.
