which type of car drivers are the worst?

As a generalisation performance saloon car drivers seem worse in comparison to commercial and true sports car drivers. The later knows the performance of their vehicle where as the former always seems like they are trying to prove that they are better than everybody else. There is good and bad in all catagories

The ones that dont ride motorcycles or know of any one who ride motorcycles methinks

Ones that are not concentrating, or are on the phone etc. However, it is OUR responsibilty to make ourselves visible, i know that when i am driving i dont check my mirrors every 4 nano seconds, and thats all the time it takes for us to be form where they can see you to where they cant!

Thnk, its not always them, we can be annoying as well.

Saying this though Bendy bus drivers are the most ignorant *enter explitive here* on the road. They jump lights, block junctions and generaly have no regard for ANYONE. Only second to this are normal busses! Wutficks the lot of them

Typical I read the thread and my thoughts are written in the post before mine! On the occasions that I do drive the misses car, I am far more vigilant towards the traffic behind me and I ALWAYS check my blind spots before making a manovour, something I witness been neglected daily on my commute.
I dont think its as much a cetain cars produce bad drivers, I think its a certain type of person selects a type car based on the image which it projects. IE Audi/BMW/VW these are all good strong car badges they suggest sucess and thats why business people buy them because it makes them appear sucessful. However these same business people are the ones who rush around going from place to place, their car is often their office and because of this they are relaxed in thier attitude towards driving provided they are making good progress, any hold up and they get irritated instantly. Because they are only intersted in getting places they rarely think about where they have been so if your unfortunate enough to be behind one then they usually dont even know about it.

Ive been in the car with my bosses on a few occasions they all fit this profile 100%

Oh but one for the mixer, 35+yr old males driving people carriers! I dont yet know why but they all seem absolutly intent on hogging the armco side of a motorway and never seem to check the mirrors.

I remember a long time ago seeing a survey that said female white van drivers were statistically the 'worst' on the road.

Worst drivers? Those that sterotype other road users into groups and then expect them all to have the same behavioural characterstics...
