Not a lot of interest then so I'll take it as a no-no and make alternative arrangements for that weekend

I'll try to join in with whatever's arranged, but given my 'ahem' contribution last year, I thought I'd take a back seat and see what's arranged

Messie,
Last year was very well organised and I think its clear nothing like that will be happening this year. I suggest we do something early january as a xmas/new year do. Nothing to fancy just some munch and a meet

Hello all. It would be great to meet some more of you, as I work in Lodnon so tend to see the Soho lot more than my locals. I had dinner at the Miller and Carter steak place on Sunday. Great burgers but lots of other choices too. It's not far from the Army and Navy roundabout on the road out to Springfield and Colchester so fairly central from all directions and ample safe parking.

So somewhere to consider if the plan is for a post Christmas meal.

It's not walking distance from the station but as I live near there I could easily pick people up from the station and drop them back there afterwards by car if they were relying on the train or wanted to head into town to continue the party.
