So just out of curiosity how many miles should i expect to cover on this weekend? Only wondering if i will need to invest in some new tyers or something?

I think the actual GMIII route will be well under 200 (if I remember correctly).

We did a week's tour of Scotland last summer and covered just under 1000 miles.

2005 miles last year, but was egged on to do more & faster miles later in the week ( thank goodness)

MYC and I did 1200 miles last year staying up there until the Wednesday or so.

If you're not sure about your tyres then I would be inclined to change them or the rear. The roads are abrasive and if we do have a run in with the law, not that we have yet, then that'll be the thing that will wind them up IMO. Plus it might hamper your enjoyment as the pace hots up. Not that it does of course.

This is Tilt's tyre on the way back from GM I. He had to find a replacement before completing his journey

Should be ok then as im going up on the fri and back on the sunday. Tyers curently have about 3mm on them so should be alright im guessing?
