Hi TazDaz, I will get a friend (15st+) to sit on it in the morning and comment back, I am 12.5st and have not observed any marking or unusual "contact" noises.

Hi TazDaz, little late in the day but! with friend aboard I estimate about 4/5mm gap, how much more when fully compressed may be something totally different.
