We've had one candidate's rep round so far. Young chap who looked like he was barely out of nappies. I asked him about the national debt, the Govt's selling of gold reserves, economic growth financed by credit and the dodgy dossier. He looked at me like I was from another planet (say nowt, lass!) and said "Eh? So, are you going to vote for Mr So-and-so?"

I wasn't inspired by this.

There are people out there who have strong political views. I would not want my neighbours knowing who I have/would vote for. You just never know these days what repercussions could come of it. That's the way of this country. Sad but true. Friends fall out over it.

That's why people prefer to remain anonymous when they vote.

How about we all agree that im going out on my bike in about ten minutes, look if you dont want to vote dont if you do, do, and if you can fall out with a friend because of politics then your better off without them...

In real life, you have the personal choice whether to tell people or not. So it should be on here.... private poll but post to say who you voted for if you want to.

Out of interest, why would people want Churchill? Can't fault him as our leader during WWII but as a leader during peace time wasnt he defeated immediately? Seen not to be the person to run the country during peace?
