Cheers Nah it's Masters MMX, equivalent to the current Masters MRP kit. The Masterworks was a bit more pricey!! :O
The Axis pedal is absolutely mint, I went from a DW 2000 series to that and the improvement is unreal! Super smooth, super quick and light as hell too. It's like the footboards are permanently attached to your feet ^_^
A company called 'The Duallist' make the pedal you're thinking of, and bizarre it is!

The china was great sounding....until my brother broke it. They're ridiculously thin so I'm not too surprised, but it was exactly the sound I was hoping for when I bought it. I'd recommend ringing up a Stagg dealer and finding out which models are a bit thicker before buying.
Yeah the Evans heads don't need any dampening, they're G2 clears by the way.
