Mods? You just got it - buy petrol and ride it.

i think hes looking for practical mods

crash bungs, hugger, fender extender and mirror spacers are all good ones..

dont let others tell you that the exhaust is rubbish, ride with it first, if you dont like it think of changing it. same with the break lines.. unless you dont like the feel of them dont change them

i dont think anyone has mentioned a scottoiler yet. (automatic chain lube..er) saves some faff oiling the chain and can extend the life of your chain and sprockets quite some way, anywhere between £75 -£200 depending on which model you get.. the electronic one has other gismos on it too but is pricy.

best advice yet. a lot of people say a scottoiler is a waste of money if you dont do a lot of miles, crap is what i say they pay for themselves over time.

depending on your weight i would also suggest new front springs and oil.

then slip-on can

then a tail tidy

Mods so far on mine;

Wavey disc brake rear (Previous owner)
LED indicators
Scoppion Carbon Ex (loud standard can is ****)
Rear hugger (protect ur sus)
RG Crash bungs
Tail Tidy
Double bubble zero gravity screen

Bought to be fitted this month:

K&N Filter
Hel Stealth Braided Lines
Irodium Spark Plugs

Anyone give me any advice on anything else worth fitting . SV's are awesome bikes for the money but it is also important not to fit too much, otherwise you might as well just buy a more expensive bike IMO.
