As I can't go any further on A spec at the moment due to the problem listed above i had a go in the B spec.

What a load of carp that is!!

Looks like I'll have to stick to the special events and licenses for a bit.

What problem listed above, can't see anything posted? Is there a bug that needs patching?

Ahh, sorry it's not very clear is it.

I am at level 18 and the only remaining level 18 championship i can enter in A spec is the Classic car one, but I cant enter is cause I can't afford a car which will be competitive in it. All the other ones are level 19 and I need to win the classic car one to get the XP to reach 19. Other ways to get XP are entering the special races and doing the licences.

Not a bug, a "feature"

Gotcha, so you wanted to nail A spec but need to do some spec B to bring up XP before it's do-able...gotcha.

How's the game so far, is it just fair like some critics are saying or are you blown away?

I'm unsure on the XP thing, its annoying for example that I couldn't go and blitz the licenses (I only have 'special' left but need more XP to even start it). Its even more annoying that I have an ace tuned car that I can only run in a few races until I get more XP to get to the more advanced races.

At a guess if you win everything you can just do all the races in order, if you don't then you will have to re-run a few until you get enough XP to continue.

I wouldn't say I was blown away. It's just GT4 with better graphics really.

Still a really good game though, have played about 30 hours in last 3 days lol

I really need a proper chair for it, the coffee table is too low and too close, plus unless I rest the pedals against it they run away and so they're also too close. I'm thinking of dusting off my woodworking skills and getting the MDF out...
