How much do you walk in your biker boots?

It's like lids different makes cater for different shapes, I have 11s and find Sidis too narrow si I bought some SMX5 Alpinestars £99 and they fit like my old combat highs I've probs walked 40/50 mile in them since last September mainly round seaside towns and burgar vans

My ten year old Daytona RoadStar GTXs are like a comfy pair of slippers that I can walk all day in. The soles finally gave up the ghost last summer so I had them rebuilt by the factory in Germany before my trip across Europe. I wear them all day at work some days when I'm accompanying people on test rides and riding round collecting bits and bobs and going to register bikes 25 miles away. They are easily the best pair of boots I have owned in 33 years of riding.

I've got a pair of Alpinestars Tech 3 MX boots that I find quite comfy too but can't wear them all day without giving my legs a chance to recover cos they are heavy. My Oxtar Goretex race boots are reasonably comfy to wear all day as long as I'm not walking too far.

I did with my Daytonas and fitted an extra insole in from a pair of Nike trainers to take up the gap. In winter I pull that insole out and wear thick thermal socks and the boots still fit perfectly. My race boots and MX boots are normal size to wear only with normal biking socks

Mine are pretty comfy, bit tired now like but they still look like they'd hold up to a crash. They just squeak.
