SHOCK NEWS !! Amy Winehouse is still alive, forensics went to draw a line around her body and she sprung up and tried to snort it.

At least her fans wont have to keep getting their money back after one of her concerts, check utube, diabolical, no great loss to the music biz.

She only released two albums but they were both pretty damned good. She was talented, she wrote most of her own music unlike the majority of artists these days. She had edge and she was unique. Unfortunately, she was pretty messed up with an addictive personality. Couple this with a bit of cash and some hangers on = lots of smack = dead Amy.

Sure it's not the most important news out there but I for one thought she was a pretty exceptional artist and although completely unsurprised about this, I do feel sorry for her and her family. Money + fame does not make you happy or at peace.

Her neighbour said in the last two weeks her cat had been regularly arriving at his house asking for food as she had been neglecting to feed it. I have no sympathy for her, if she can't even be bothered to look after an innocent pet who probably still gave her affection even when she was too off her face to bother with it.

And what's her father Mitch going to do now? He was the biggest hanger-on of the lot.

She was given huge amounts of help and support from family and friends at every opportunity and decided to carry on as she had been - I can't understand why anyone would have sympathy for her, save it for the people who tried to help but had it thrown back in their faces. You only have to know the story behind her song 'Rehab' to understand what a selfish person she was.

As for her writing her own songs - her biggest selling single was 'Valerie', a cover of the Zutons' track. She wasn't unique, the world has seen thousands of excellent female artists who can sing and write their own music, it's seen plenty who do drugs and drink too and we've had more than our fair share of those who've OD'd. The only thing that made her 'unique' was the fact she looked and acted like a crack-ho with her prison tattoos and skanky appearance and was always in the papers for some incident or other.

Another mindless junkie dead, no great loss to society and at least the world is rid of another negative role model for young girls.

She wasn't "amazingly talented" go look up youtube for her most recent "come back" concert in Europe and you'll see just how lacking in talent she actually was.
