From my brother in law I received a single spanner.

Very nice it is too. Snap-on no less. 12mm combination spanner. Very shiny, well made etc.

But why? What does it mean? Why 12mm? What is the significance? Most importantly, does he have the rest of the set?

Unfortunately, the sister chucked him out on Christmas Eve so perhaps we'll never know.

I think they should work through their problems and stick together...for the sake of my toolbox.
