A couple or so years back I won an air rifle combo in one of the Airgunner magazine competitions. It took about 4 months before they decided to deliver it all.

I got my business card drawn out the hat at a networking event last Friday morning and won a vegetarian haggis and a large turnip. Very tasty it was too.

The other prizes were a pot plant and a bottle of Bell's cooking whisky, so I thought I'd done alright.

Talking Re: What's the best thing you've won?

I won Formula Schools competition 3 years in a row and a total of 4 times. The project was to spend a year building a 1/10th scale petrol powered remote control car and then take it to Silverstone and race against 100+ schools from all over the UK. Might not be much, but made me the best Technology teacher in the UK!
If you look on Allan mcNish's sleeve he has our team logo on it and then went onto win LeMans that year.

Once won a crate of beer in a pub quiz.

And the one time I went to the horses I came out with more money that I took with me, thanks to several wins.

Thats about it.
