Simple tip here, get yourself a bird of prey. When ever we take Alby out into the garden, the song birds get somewhat quieter. It is a strange experience, but a peaceful one. The only down side is that Alby poos every ten minutes and the smell is appalling.

I have somewhere a photo of a kestrel taking a skyrat apart on my lawn. Messy devil never cleaned up after herself.

As a kid, we rescued 3 from an abandoned nest. Pampered bird wouldn't eat unless we plucked the pigeon we were feeding them on first.
