Worst thing I've ever driven was probably a Daewoo Matiz I got as a hire car once. Cramped, uncomfortable and asthmatic... those were it's good points.

The Ford Ka we usually got was a bit underpowered but it stuck like a limpet and it would carry plenty of corner speed before the tyres started squealing. The Matiz was just a POS.

The X7 was amazing! Anything that did 90-100mph when you've been on a 50cc then a 125 for 2 years, is the mutts nuts.

I've never hated owning a bike, though looking back my Honda MT5 was pretty sh!t, I still had some amazing times on it.

Car wise, my 2003 BMW 3 series was utter crap. My 1989 Rover 213 was better. It'll be a long time before I touch another BMW.

Worse car has to be an Austin Maestro.

I bought it at auction, yes it was cheap.

turns out the front cross member was bent. A new front panel had been fitted disguising the structural damage. Daft because it only took me an hour to pull the cross member straight.

It represented everything that was bad with 80s austin rover, poor construction methods using lapped seams that corroded, poor paint, poor engines, poor design.

the surprising thing was I eventually chucked it back in the auction after 3 years running expecting scrap value. I got £60 more than I paid for it in the first place.

I have only ever made one mistake with a bike and to be honest, I kind of knew when I did it, but trusted the input from the wife.

Yamaha XJ400, got it on E-Bay from a couple of girls who had bought it for their wedding. What they failed to mention was that they had slid it down the road. By the time we got it, it was dark and we could not properly see the damage done to it.

The damage was that the newly fitted replacement foot pegs were held on with 4mm bolts, the top box was fitted with zip ties and more 4mm bolts. The exhaust had snapped in the crash and the rear suspension was also broken.

Total cost of the bike including repairs has so far been £1000! A total and utter waste, especially for a bike that gave me arm ache because it was uncomfortable. Oh the engine blew up on the motorway while I was on the way to work and it is now a 550. It is still pants though.

I don't drive, but the worst car I have ever been in was the wife's old company car, a Ford Ka van. That was rusty, slow nasty shed of a car!

I was once stupid enough to buy a Vauxhaull Frontera Sport. Biggest pile of poo I ever owned. That said it was a great off road vehicle. It was great at being off road, in the garage being fixed. I kept it a whole 8 months and got rid in exchange for a Renault 19 diesel which was brilliant.

I love our Freelander, seriously I do, so does Peg. When its working, its the do it all everything car, when its broke, ARGHHHHH

When Peg bought it 600 miles in the head gasket went. He bought it underpriced anyway, so that cost was incorporated into what another would have been in the first place.

The starter motor, works in summer, hated in winter, all fixed for the cost of a tenner after three years of playing up!

Failed its MOT last year, because of someone not knowing what they were doing, I'll explain.
Firstly, they found a gaitor on the steering rack had been burnt through. Very strange. Needed to be replaced, not cheap
Needed four new tyres...not cheap, but consumables.
Had to put on a new ABS sensor before the MOT too. Couldn't have a cheap 1.8 one, oh no ours takes Range Rover sensors :/

Rumble started right after MOT, they thought it was balancing or something. I read about the VCU blowing up, but the garage was adamant it was fine. I took it elsewhere, and guess what, the VCU had siezed up.....throwing the propshaft about, making the engine rock on its mountings.....and burn a hole in the NEWLY fitted gaitor

SO, VCU off, cheapest bill so far(even for a very expensive garage), happy clappy

Then

ANOTHER sensor went, so original garage replaced it(its round the corner, and convenient) they'd done the other, and it had been fine. Well, it didn't work, and I got ****ed off, took it to the approved bloke who diagnosed VCU crash. Needed brake disks and pads, they were warped and fooked. Ok, thats not so bad, til I saw the bill, due to the fact that stupid sensor the other garage hadn't been plugged in right, and he had to make several trips to the computer, and then replace the barstewrding thing

AND NOW>>>>>>>

I went to open the back barn door last night, pulled the catch underneath, tugged the door, as its heavy and the fookin entire unit went crunch and fell off

DID I say I loved my Landy

So many repair bills, so many pennies spent, so much petrol. BUT I love my car!

I HATE the new C2 we have, that rocket powered roller skate is awful to drive, it has no room, I can't see out of the windows, I can't park it properly, it doesn't drive up curbs, it smells....but a door handle costs a fiver, the fan 20 quid to fix, it does 70 to the gallon, is cheap.....but bloedddy hell its a **** compared to my vastly terrible expensive luxury poofwaggon!!
