So, early Sepang test times showing Rossi only a couple of tenths from the front, just ahead of Lorenzo. And no surprise, the fastest Ducati just over 2 seconds off the pace..... sounds familiar.

Must have been Rossi rather than the bike....

And with the final times from the day its looking like 2013 could be an interesting season. As expected the newcomer Marquez is fast out of the crate, but I'm impressed that Rossi is back on the pace so quickly. Looks like there will be some competition at the front.

i haven't seen anything yet, but from this i like the sound of what's going on. it'll be good to see the master back on a decent bike again and not flogging the dead horse, as he was on the ducati!

oh and that marc chap seems pretty good too. Really pleased that VR got off to a good start. Bodes well for the first race

well what do you expect,ducati never been able to keep upto the japs,be it road or track!!!

more down to the quality of the rider,even if youve got the fastest best handling a reliable bike on the track,if you riders are 1/10 (or even 1/100)second a lap slower you will most likely loose,and as we know with most racing these days the difference between winning and loosing can be very small
