Not much point with insurance, doubt they'd be the cheapest anyway.

So what level of discount would they have to give in order for it be a viable option for members and them to take it on?
They were £100 out on price this year for me, that's on a policy for which i paid £227.

Not saying it is a bad one. The insurance market is so vast, it would be hard for them to give us all price winning quotes, and still run a viable business model.
Now, if it was a group buy

It may be worth having talks with some other insurance companies about it. I was a member of a car owners club and they had a deal with I think it was swinton and we got a 15% discount on top of any other offers they had as well.

Edit: It may, however, have had something to do with full membership being premium.

The MX5 forum who I am a member of are sponsored by an insurance company. Said company do some pretty good deals on modified 5's - obviously they have found that they can offer good deals and still profit. Maybe people who modify vehicles sometimes are not higher risk as they don't want to crash something they have so much time into.

Better get back into the garage and finish off the GSXR before its uninsurable anyways .

25%! That's what I'm talking about! Maybe as they have the same engine they could transfer that over to us
