If I'm on a client site, whatever I want (within reason) and I get it on expenses. Yesterday was a very nice Massaman Curry with sticky rice, some prawn crakers and a coke in a Thai place in London. When I'm working at home, it varies quite a lot; today I had some chilli houmous on some fresh brown bread that I set baking at breakfast time.

When I was office based, it was usually a packed lunch. Packed lunch (buying it for the week) is a good habit to get into. Saving £1.50 of your after tax salary a day, for 250 days of the year is quite a bit of cash.

That makes the bread go soggy. Chris8886 is tonight having steak and ale pie that I made then dropped off round his as he's on his own this week. I made a cake as well of course. Meals on wheels service.
