He didn't have to if he is on pole.

Rossi has never been a good qualifier.

I cant speak Marquez high enough. He is sublime. I bet only Stoner could trouble him and Stoner Lorenzo and Pedrosa dont like it up em. Maybe thats why Stoner quit coz this nutter was a-coming.

Pedrosa is unlucky. And u cant do much about that.

But thing about Marquez as he has the skills but also the aggression and sheer fear factor. Lorenzo let him pass because its easier than getting knocked off! He has the skills of Stoner and the sheer lunacy of Simoncelli. Lorenzo and Pedrosa are never up for a dogfight and this is where Marquez excels and will always give him an edge.
Hmm. I think any mention of Simoncelli in association with Marquez will turn out to be prescient.

It's only a matter of time before Marquez kills/maims either himself or another rider. Yes he's exciting to watch but he really doesn't give a flying fudge about the consequences.

So far he's been lucky.

I don't think he's reckless. Reckless doesn't win as many races as he's won.

Apparently there is talk ( according to an article on crash.net ) of "Sanctions" being taken against Marquez after that incident.

Am I the only one who remembers this

I started typing a note mentioning that but got distracted.
I thought Marquez's incident was a lot less irresponsible than Dani's

I don't think Marquez did anything wrong at all.
