I got a blue flame can and i wouldn't recomend anybody buys one. The can sounds fab and has no sign of falling apart. However, the link pipe is at the wrong angle and I think my can sticks out the side of my bike too far. The connector pipe has an angle of 30deg. I reckoned 38deg would have solved the problem, but blue flame just werent interested in my complaint. I sent them photots at all angles and detailed exactly why the thing wasn't a neat fit.

Their response was "Thats exactly how it's supposed to look."

Umh blue flame....

I've got a titanium evo

Pro's

It sounds lovely
It looks good IMHO

Cons

Its failing apart, lost two rivets out of the stap and the end of the can
the can strap thing is cr*p and it was a b*gger to get it to fit properly, I modified it myself in the end by heating it up and bending it to the shape it needed to be for it to fit properly
The packing is coming out

Would I buy another one, Nope I wouldnt, I would go for a remus instead, it sounds just as good, but the build quality is far superior IMHO

Well, it's a cheap option, but you can pick up a Viper can for around £100. Yes, they rust a bit eventually on the outlet pipe (2 years living outside), but they sound nice. They are stamped "competition use only" though - you'll need another can come MOT time, but that is what you have an original for, you'll just have to buy a link pipe.

I know this is a place where to express you're opinions, but let's not talk utter garbage! ART cans sound awesome and everyone knows it, a deep rasp rather than a din as you put it.

And how can they be cheap tat if they don't need constantly re-packing like other cheap cans?

I hat ehte sound of ARTs too, they're loud but unappealing to me. A v-twin should growl or rasp, it shouldn't roar.

I picked up a CCC can off ebay - same as the one there but 2nd hand. Best improvement on my bike. I didnt bother about the horse power gains as they are minimal and just wanted a nicer sounding bike. Acheived that for £60.00 - if you just want a better sounding bike keep an eye out on ebay for a slip on and buy one of the recommended brands mentioned - you can always sell it again and buy a replacement pipe.
