Definately recommend Snake pass also Very good road with some great bends.

I'd also add the Strines (links A628 stocksbridge bypass to A57) 4 or five hairpins down into valleys with some decent straights en-route. the road condition could be better but you'll not dare go above 60 anyways, some very hairy bends and dips in the road if your unfamiliar with it.....But if you know when you can crack it open Nice pub about half way aswell, serves top grub and PROPER coffee Think you'd struggle to get it in though .

Then head up Long Hill and over the Cat. Superb.
Well believe it or not, that is exactly the route I've plotted on Autoroute.... Obviously I'm a natural for this kind of work

.
Well you'll enjoy every minute of it You'll be giggling like a loon at the top of the Edale road after the bumpy uphill bit

have fun

shouldnt be called snake pass really
should be renamed as

or better still

"old biddies in a brown allegro with peaked cap on and eatin sandwiches lookin at the view pass"

Sunday the 18th Rideout for us Northerners
Amarko5 ( aka Mark) has asked me to do a Route for Sunday the 18th June 06,
This route is another Rideout that takes us over the North East toward the coast and back down through the North York moors, Helmsley, and back toward the Skipton area.
I know a lot of other riders are heading toward the Cat & Fiddle area, but this is an optional extra...
I hope a few riders will be riding with me as it's a very nice scenic route, with a few tea / bladder stops on the way.
I hope this meets with some approval.

Richie numbers.
Legal jibberish, "This is not a insured rideout and anyone who participates does so at there own risk"
The Lead bike will keep the second bike in their mirrors and the second bike will keep the third bike in their mirrors as not to loose them and so on...
Basic convoy drills.... It's not a race, just a fine Ride out. (Weather permitting)

Moved now, but only up the road into Darwen. Could meet up if you fancied and head on over.
