No surprise at all when you realise the capital that has been committed to them and the new people behind them.
Just none of it invested in their dealerships

Oooooh, s'cuse me for having an opinion on Ducrapi without owning one!

They decided to refuse to pay dealers here for waranty work, so they went bust. Good enough for you?

Jordan...Ducati have had well chronicled financial problems in the past and that would no doubt explain the situation that you refer to. I would suggest that their present circumstances are way removed from the situation that you mention.

However the number of dealerships that did actually meet their demise as a direct result of Ducati's inability to pay them for warranty work, was how many?

Ducrapi? Hmmm interesting that!

The main dealer in the South of London went belly up because of this, which happened within the last 6 months. Along with 2 others, I think, but I'd have to check that.

Not trying to add fuel to a raging fire but another thing to consiser is how many went bankrupt for other reasons, one ducati dealer about three miles from me went bust, had a bankrupcy auction & everything, he reopened another shop in Colchester within six months under a different name & now sells Suzuki & guess what ............................................Ducati .
Suits me though because i can walk there now in 20 minutes if i have to.

Foey..Well put sir. I personally find the suggested reason to be the single cause of any dealership going under extremely difficult to believe. If it happened as recently as Jordan states, then I am 100% convinced that there is much more to the story and far broader issues involved.

Just "quoting" hystrerical headlines without substance is pretty poor to my mind.

Right after that little de-rail, here's a bit more metal for you.

Based on BMW 850R

Tail gate drops as ramp.
