The other thing is Sales people are only really driven by commision on what they sell. So they're not really interested in you or helping you. They're only really interested in making money from you.

No product sells itself. Its a misguided theory.

The closest you can get is a product or service that is a "no-brainer". The Benefits of having that product/service is so obvious, it doesnt need someone to sell it hard. But it still needs sales and marketing people to take it to market and get it noticed by the target audience against all the other competition.
