Eh... Not even close. Even in Europe, Monaco, no less than 6 cities in France, Naples, Barcelona, Lisbon and Madrid have higher density.

The mean density across Greater London is 4699 per sq km. The peak is just 15,777 per sq km- the mean population of Paris is 24,672 per sq metre, 6 times greater than London. (the peak there is 40,672)

The most densely populated administrative district on earth is believed to be Huangpu in Beiing- 126,542 people per square kilometer. 27 times the mean density of london, and 8 times more than the highest area.

Maybe it just feels crowded here and the crowding is'nt confined to London. The whole region of South East England feels very crowded.Fly into Gatwick at night and the whole of Southern England is lit up with hardly any breaks.
Yes there may be other areas that have very dense population hotspots, but I bet you the people there are just as rude and aggressive as London and for much the same reasons.

Never been there but I can vouch for the rudeness of Parisiens and as for Manhatten-----
There is a noticable change in atmosphere in Britain as you travel away from London (Or probably any big city)and generally you have to experience it to be aware of it.I visit relatives in the West country and after a day or so it hits me and I realise what a rat race London is.
I never murder people in the West country either.

Now now----We must not be rude about our neighbours and EU partners even if they are inbred cheese eating surrender monkeys.
Don't mention the war.

You're quite right, I apologise for my racism... My sample of Parisians is too small to make a proper judgement from, though they were all total *****.

The reason that few people talk to each other in London is because they can`t !!
I spend some of my time going round building sites, and when its in the capital, one thing for sure is that there will be 50-75% of people on there who speak little or no english.
hard to be friendly if you can`t speak the lingo
I used to bike into London, and now drive, the difference in driving styles from Chelmsford to london (40 miles) is marked.
