Well yeah, but personally I like a challenge ... that and I am a bit detached from reality!!!

Like I said, a steelie CBR6 or summin like that ‘cat would make an ideal first cheap trackbike, I’d recommend that over a 400 any day. One can then step to a more modern 600/thou once they have outgrown the steelie.

I find the SV great fun on track, but it is blatantly underpowered against the thous, if like me you find that all part of the fun then cool, else you will only get frustrated!!! I also suppose it depends on how you get your kicks. If you want to just get out there and ride to the best of your ability or if you want to go out there and mix it with the others!!!
