Big news...read all about it!

Well I have got to say that this has TOTALLY taken me by surprise and I would imagine many other people too!

Nicky Hayden has signed a new 2 year contract with Repsol HOnda! So maybe they were not conspiring against him after all? Or could it have been the fact that Yamaha prized him that they decided to act?

Say what you like about the young American, he does go about the job with a lot of humility and grace to my mind. This no doubt makes him very appealing to the HRC powers that be.

So does Valentino get to keep his Texan side kick for another season then?

My money is on VR.All the figures suggest Haydon will win,but I would never bet against the greatest rider ever pulling it out of the hat.True class will always win in the end.
I don't think Haydon or any of the other contenders are poor relations either, just that Rossi is an absolute class above all of them.A rare treat which we should enjoy while it lasts.

BB...If your boy Ago reads those words of glowing praise of this new guy Valerie Rossi, he would be devastated at your lack of loyalty! I mean you and him go back so far together!

Give it a few years and I look forward to watching VR doing a few demo laps of Mallory at the post TT to show us all how it used to be done.
Never happen----The whole thing will be long banned by then.
Too noisy, dangerous, polluting, out of tune with the modern visions and values of the big brother state.
Enjoy it while you still can.

Attitude, man... it's the attitude he's lacking. Even Pedrosa's got more of it than Hayden does...

I agree, Hayden seems a really decent bloke but he just nothing exciting on the track for me, whereas Mr Rossi..........best by a mile in my humble opinion.

Don't think he'll be able to turn it around this year though, although I hope I'm wrong.

Come on Rossi !!

I reckon Hayden will hang on, but I have the right to change my mind after Sunday's race.

All Hayden has to do is finish right behind Rossi for the last 3 races and he'll have won.
