please - please don't wear glasses or sunglasses riding. I had to pick up a guy in manchester who was hit- he would have walked away but his glasses shattered and skinned his forehead and cut the tip of his nose off. Looking at a man with a white-bone-forehead was not pretty. Contacts are good enough

wear sunglasses instead! its safer - you'll be able to remove them easily if you go in a tunnel unlike those visors which have tricky flip up mechanisms!

Am getting use to carrying a clear and shaded visor about now. I find I tend to break the sunnys carrying them about and getting them on and off with a helmet on.

Does the fog city insert work well against getting a foggy visor. I'm getting that problem a lot with my standard visor.

Fog City works brilliantly at preventing fog... IMO it's pretty much useless at preventing glare though, just doesn't go very dark. Still, I fit one to every visor I get.

I'm an AGV guy myself but after seeing the SHOEI XR-1000 Kagayama replica I fell in love. Just love the design and it's got a double glazed visor. Only problem is that its not available here so can't try the fit. It's got those twin stripes Northwind. Would look great on you, matching your bike an all.

Shame you can't get to the bike show over here then, Zunkus. One stand had them for £229. I didn't buy as I thought Mrs would go bananas but she was fully expecting me to spend a tidy sum, so I was sorry that I hadn't.

i used to get a gradient tint visor, darker at the top than the bottom. very good for low sun or dazzling headlights, just tip your head down a bit. can you still get these.
